Christmas delivery slots in Sunderland 2022: How to book deliveries for Tesco, Sainsbury's and more

Christmas presents are being prepared and family gatherings are being organised across the country with Christmas dinners next on the agenda.

But with so much else to organise over the next few weeks, supermarket deliveries can be a saving grace to many, and this Christmas they are in high demand.

But where can you get delivery slots for this Christmas across Sunderland?

Asda

Some Asda customers are already able to book their delivery slots for the final build-up to Christmas. The supermarket released their Christmas food range in early October with their food to order and collection slots available for Delivery Pass customers.

These Delivery Passes are available for any orders above £40 and start from £3.50 per month. Anyone who does not have Delivery Passes can also book orders and delivery slots but these will be cost a fee - prices are dependant on the date and time of the delivery.

Bookings close on Thursday, December 15, with Christmas Eve delivery available at certain stores. The supermarket is warning that spaces are filling up quickly.

Morrisons

Much like Asda, Morrisons offer a way for customers to get priority slots through their Delivery Pass Service. This can be bought for either £40 per year, £35 every six months or as a £5 monthly payment.

Delivery Pass slots became available on Wednesday, October 19, and regular slots are also now available, although some local stores are already seeing full slots from Thursday, December 22, until Christmas Day.

Sainsbury’s

Sainsbury’s already have delivery slots open for Delivery Pass customers as well as all other customers, with slots available for the general public from Thursday, October 20. These slots go up to and include Christmas Eve.

Tesco

Tesco customers need to wait a little longer for their delivery slot confirmation with Delivery Save slots becoming available from 6am on Tuesday, November 15. This saver service is available on six month and 12 month plans with prices starting from £2.49 per month.

All other customers have been able to book their Christmas slots from 6am on Tuesday, November 22.
