Carriageway cleared after broken down vehicle blocked lane on A1231 in Sunderland
The A1231 Sunderland Highway has been cleared after a broken down vehicle caused delays for commuters heading towards the A19 this morning.
The eastbound carriageway was partially blocked.
The car has now been removed after it broke down on Pattinson Road (Nissan Roundabout) and the roundabout connecting to the A19.
