Dogs and owners set to take on sponsored dip for armed forces charity
Customers and staff from Doggie Diner Blackhall are coming together to do a sponsored dip along with their lovable dogs in aid of the Royal Air Forces Association.
The charity provides welfare support for serving and ex-serving RAF personnel and their families.

Hide AdThe cafe, which opened just over a year ago to cater for dogs and their owners, will hold the event on Sunday, July 29, at 5pm, after being inspired by a loyal customer.
Franchisee Sue Nelson, 59, from Washington, said: “One of our customers is the chairperson of the association and we wanted to do something for a cause that everybody could support.
“We came up with the idea of a sponsored dip where humans and dogs doing it together.
“It is open to everybody - staff, customers, and anyone who wants to come and join in or show their support.” The event is free to take part, but people are asked to raise funds for the charity through sponsorship.

Hide AdSponsor forms are available from the diner on Middle Street directly and can also been sent out on email.
Sue will also be taking part in the event with her two cocker spaniels, Monty and Buster, both three.
She added: “We just want to raise some money for a good cause. “There is no fundraising target, but we have raised £200 so far.
“It is the first time that we have done this so we are hoping that lots of people will turn up, even if it is just to support.”
