Friends of Hetton Lyons Country Park will meet at 5.45pm on Thursday in the Admin Building in the park. The Friends would be pleased to welcome new members. They will be discussing future events in the park and other topics. If you would like to join there is no joining fee and your input would be welcome.

Eppleton Cricket Club Junior coaching continues this week. Sessions are held every Thursday at Church Road from 6pm to 8pm and all ages and abilities are welcome. The club is on the lookout for new under-11 players. Anyone interested, contact junior chairman Paul Tipton at [email protected] for more information

The Hetton Fellowship of Churches is hosting a Pentecost Prayer and Praise event at 7pm on Wednesday, May 11, at the Hetton Centre. The churches of Hetton and Easington Lane are coming together to pray for the area and invite anyone to attend. Prayer requests can also be left with any of the churches for the event.
