Curtain lifts on Seaton Carew Dance Academy’s Sleeping Beauty pantomime

A DANCE academy has pulled out all the stops for its 31st annual pantomime.

Seaton Carew Academy of Dance is wowing crowds this week with its glittering spectacular, Sleeping Beauty, at The Town Hall Theatre, in Raby Road, Hartlepool.

The magical production with over 100 cast members, boasts glittering costumes and fantastic dance numbers and promises to be a hit with all the family.

Performers range from small children to teenagers and adults – from Hartlepool and the surrounding areas – who are all excited to put on the best possible show after months of practice to get their moves and lines perfect.

The Mail had a sneak preview of the show at Saturday’s dress rehearsal. But the real deal started last night and runs until Saturdayat 6.45pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2pm.

Tickets, which cost £9 for adults and £8 for concessions, can be booked at Hartlepool Art Gallery and Tourist Information Centre, in Church Square, Hartlepool, or by calling the box office on (01429) 890000 - which is open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-4.30pm.
