Ghost hunt

ORGANISERS of a celebrity ghost hunt are urging brave people to join in the fun and help support a children’s hospice.

Butterwick House Children’s Hospice, in Stockton, cares for youngsters from Hartlepool and east Durham.

On March 3, it will be staging a ghost hunt at Middlesbrough Library, between 7pm and midnight.

Middlesbrough Library have invited people behind the scenes, into archive areas rarely seen by the public.

It opened in 1912 and library officers say its contents are rich in local history.

Celebrity ghost hunters Ian Lawman and Ciarán O’Keeffe from television’s ‘Most Haunted Live’ will be on hand to help people understand the level of hauntings that have been reported.

Tickets cost £15 per person and each ‘Ghost Hunter’ is asked to raise sponsorship in support of Butterwick House Children’s Hospice, which opened in October 1998.

All services are provided completely free of charge.
