DOZENS of teenagers got their glad-rags on and turned up in style for the biggest night on a school-leavers calendar.

Pupils from Wellfield Community School in Wingate travelled to Lumley Castle, in Chester-le-Street, for their prom night with the ladies dazzling in colourful dresses and the lads all suited and booted.

The 15 and 16-year-olds had a great time and danced the night away making for a very memorable event.

Students across Hartlepool and East Durham have been enjoying the start of prom season – and the Hartlepool Mail and Peterlee Star will be covering every one of them.
