Logan Barton led the way as Hetton Lyons secured a 10-run victory over Seaham Harbour in the Durham Cricket Board Under-15s Champions Trophy semi-final.

Batting first, the Lyons posted 118-3 from 20 overs, with Barton hitting five boundaries in his 46, backed by Callan Salkeld (32) and Tom Lawson (25), with Callum Hutchinson bagging 2-31 for Harbour along with one from Rhys Slater.

Openers Henry Sennett and Jarryd Robinson both scored 30 for Seaham Harbour in the reply, with Ben McKinney making 19, but they fell short on 108-3.

Eppleton U15s progressed into the semi-final of the DCB Bowl after a 49-run victory over Whitburn.

Whitburn won the toss and inserted Eppleton, who managed to make 140-5 from their 20 overs as Josh Hutchinson top-scored with 42, backed by an unbeaten 21 from Jye Richardson while Pratt (19) and Wardle (17) supported.

Jude Ramsey picked up two wickets for Whitburn.

In reply, Whitburn were 91 all out as Jye Richardson struck with 4-13, supported by two wickets each from Hutchinson and Pratt. Ben Hutchinson top-scored with 13 for Whitburn.

Washington beat Esh Winning by four wickets to progress into the Bowl semi-finals too.

Billy Storey top-scored with 17 as Esh Winning totalled 75-9 as Tyler Dutton bagged 3-10, while Jovan Singh and Sammy Singh Rai both struck twice. All three Washington openers fell for less than 10, but 21 from David Atkinson and 20 from Sammy Singh Rai led Washington home with four overs to spare.
