Serious accident partially closes A195 in Washington

A busy Wearside road is partially blocked after a three-vehicle collision.

One lane of the A195 Western Highway in Washington is closed westbound due to a serious three vehicle collision close to the A1M roundabout.

Police are directing traffic at the scene.
